Ruth Mae Huddleston

Ruth Mae Huddleston, 79, of Princeton, IN, formerly of Oklahoma, passed to her heavenly home Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital while surrounded by her family. Ruth was born to Joseph and Grace ( Higdon ) Ragsdale, both of whom precede. Ruth was a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who spent her life working hard, taking care of anyone in need. She enjoyed having a garden and being surrounded by her flowers and birds. She was always helping at the church, usually behind the scenes, not wanting any glory for herself. She was the recipient of the Oklahoma Mother of the Year Award, which made her smile.

Ruth loved her family with passion, always seeing to their needs and driving them around.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and four brothers, leaving six remaining siblings. She also leaves behind her only daughter, Ronna (JD) Mullins of Princeton, IN; two grandchildren, Jason (Laura) Mullins of Evansville, IN, and Calah (Chase) Carlock of Owensville, IN; seven great grandchildren: Collin, Anna, Emily, and Isaac Carlock and Tyler, Kinsley, and Kooper Mullins.

There will be a visitation at Doyle Funeral Home, 520 S. Main St. Princeton, IN 47670 on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at 2:00 P.M., with J. D. Mullins officiating. A Committal service will be held at a later date. The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to their local Humane Society.
