Roy Whitehouse

Roy Whitehouse, 64, of Patoka, IN, passed away at his residence Saturday, August 23, 2025. He was born Monday, September 26, 1960 to Joe and Barbara (Coleman) Whitehouse. Roy was a lifelong resident of Gibson County and was a Pipefitter working through the UA Local #136 of the Plumbers and Steamfitters. He attended the Mt Olive United Methodist Church in Mount Olympus.

Roy is survived by his mother, Barbara Whitehouse, of Patoka, IN; former wife, Wendi Wright; one son, Dakota Whitehouse, of Patoka, IN; one daughter, Toni (Tyler) Lingo of Hazleton, IN; his sisters, Amy (Chris) Cook of Princeton, IN, and Amanda (Tim McCullough of Fort Branch along with five grandchildren.

Roy is preceded in death by his father, Joe Whitehouse, his brother, Danny, his sister, Nancy, and his infant son, Caleb Whitehouse.

Doyle Funeral Home has the honor of serving the Whitehouse family.

Visitation will take place on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 12:00 P.M. C.S.T. with a Masonic service starting at 1:00 p.m. C.S.T. The Funeral service will be that same day, beginning at 1:15 p.m. C.S.T. immediately following the Masonic service. Services and visitation will be at Doyle Funeral Home, 520 S. Main St., Princeton, IN. with Elder Mitch Breidenbaugh officiating. Internment will take place in Mt. Olive cemetery in Mt. Olympus.
