Paul E. Miller, 86, of Princeton, IN, passed from this earth to his heavenly home on July
15, 2025, at the Linda E White Hospice House in Evansville, IN. Paul was a lifelong resident
of Princeton, where he was born on Saturday, May 27, 1939 to William Daniel and
Callie Marie (Douglas) Miller, both who preceded him in death. On March 1, 1958, in
Waukegan, IL, he married Elaine Ward of Princeton, IN, who survives.
Paul worked at Emges meat packing plant for twenty years, Emerson Electric for five years,
and Perdue Farms for ten years in Washington, IN. Paul is a U.S. Veteran, having served in
the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Walker. He was a long-time member of Bethel Memorial
Church in Princeton.
Paul is survived by his wife of 67 years, Elaine Miller, of Princeton, IN; his sons, Phil
(Nancy) Miller of Princeton, IN; Tim (Carey) Miller of Ft. Myers, FL; and Jason Miller
of Princeton, IN; and daughter, Selena (Brad) Clark of Campbellsville, KY.
Paul’s other survivors include his grandchildren: Nicole (Brandon) Mize, Kristen (Josh)
Adams, Marshall Miller, Taylor Miller, Shayla (Corey) White, Aaron Miller, Timothy Miller
II, Noah Miller, Madison Clark, and Kennedy Clark, and 7 great grandchildren.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers: John, Jesse, Joe, and Frank
Hale, and his sister, Shirley Cowing.
It was Paul’s desire to be cremated and honored with a memorial service.
There will be a time of visitation with the family from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Saturday, July
19, 2025 with a memorial service to follow at Bethel Memorial Church, 1520 South
Main Street in Princeton, IN. Military honors will be provided by our local retired veterans
group. Interment of ashes will take place in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery at
1415 North Gate Road, Madison, IN 47250 at a later date. It is the honor of Doyle
Funeral Home, 520 S. Main Street, to serve the Miller Family. In lieu of flowers, the family
suggests that memorials be made in honor of Paul to Bethel Christian School at 1520 S.
