Christiane Elke Ashby

Christiane Elke Ashby, 79, of Princeton, IN. passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at her residence in Princeton, IN. She was born on Sunday, July 2, 1944, in Schoen Werth, Germany to Josef and Elisabeth (Hoeflinger) Stoehr. 

 Christiane has lived in the Gibson County area for approximately 40 Years.

On March 2, 1985, Christiane married William Henry Ashby who preceded Christiane on September 2, 2010. She was a homemaker and was extremely gifted in the art of highly detailed cross stitch and spent many hours working on her craft. 

Christiane is survived by 2 daughters, Marcella Morena Feola (Klaus Kuhlmann) of Nauheim, Germany and Manuela (Jurgen) Blumentritt of Sinntal, Germany; 1 brother: Josef Steian Stoehr of Nauheim, Germany.

Christiane is preceded by her parents and husband, William.

Christiane’s wishes were to be cremated and combined with her husband, William.

 Doyle Funeral Home, 520 S. Main St., Princeton, IN. has the honor of serving the Ashby family.
